CLUB COMMUTER BIKURIOUS

Posted on 23rd March 2013 in Uncategorized

BIKURIOUS IS PLEASED TO LAUNCH OUR NEW COMMUTER PROGRAM!!

Commuter program

Package- 125$

Joining the commuter club gets you consistent preventative maintenance so we can solve problems with your bike before they start. Your bike runs smoother, lasts longer, and we all spend less time and money on emergency repairs! When you purchase the package you get a set of CATEYE front and rear lights installed on your bike at no additional cost. Also included is a cyclometer, which we will install to track your mileage. After 1000 km of riding (or 3 months, whichever comes first) you bring your bike in and we do a free tune up!

At Bikurious, we understand how important it is for you to be able to rely on your bike as a mode of transportation, so we offer priority repairs to our commuter club members. What this means is that during the busy times of the year we will work our hardest to fit in on the spot repairs, and guarantee fast turnaround time on flat tire repairs.

As an added bonus to becoming a member, you will receive a 10% discount on every purchase throughout the 2013 season.

Simply come to the shop to sign up!

CATLIKE HELMETS IN STOCK!

Posted on 26th January 2013 in Products, Re-stock

Catlike, a company that was started in the back shop of a bike store about 15 years ago, has since established themselves as the brand of reference when it comes to cycling helmets that are lightweight, highly protective, with a design principal that reduces volume. A common and general complaint about cycling helmets is that they often feel bulky, heavy, and cause overheating in the hot months of the year. Catlike makes helmets that one can often forget they are even wearing! These helmets sit lower and with more contour around your head, with great ventilation and low, low weight. If you are someone who generally dislikes wearing a helmet while biking, let us show you a Catlike and change your mind!

We will have more models and colors arriving shortly, but if you have something specific in mind, we would be happy to see if a special order is in the cards.

Be like Cyril Dessel here and have some coffee before, during or after you ride your bike today. We are offering free coffee to any of our customers who are out on their bikes today. So come warm up at the store for a bit — we’ll set you up with a classic “shop-brew” coffee, while it lasts! We aint’ $tarbucks though, so no, you can’t set up with your laptop and pretend to be writing a novel / screenplay, and no, you can’t have whip-cream on your coffee, unless you bring some for everyone!

Handmade in Montreal

Posted on 19th January 2013 in Uncategorized

Dot Caps, handmade in Montreal, have been very popular at the store since we started carrying them a few years back. It takes time and skill to produce these caps one at a time, so availability is always limited. We just got an order of Dot Winter caps, in various sizes and colors, but you’ll have to act fast, as these tend to sell out quickly.

Winter Dot Caps sell for 60$+tx in all sizes and styles. Stay warm out there!

Velo Burrito

Posted on 19th January 2013 in Uncategorized

The more we get to know our customers, the more we learn about the positive and interesting projects that they’re getting up to in life. Whether it’s related to cycling, or not, we want to encourage our community to keep at the things that make them, and those around them happy. Add burritos to the equation and you’re sure to get our attention.

Tell your friends, tell your enemies — everyone appreciates a healthy, hearty burrito delivered to their door. The already low prices includes delivery, so tip generously!
